Vote Center and Ballot Drop-Off Locations
You can use any Riverside County Ballot Drop Off Locationm to return your ballot. The Palm Desert locations are noted as purple pins in the map above.
You can use any Vote Centers in Riverside County to vote in-person, drop off ballots, obtain a replacement ballot, vote using an accessible voting machine, or register to vote. The Palm Desert locations are noted as purple stars on the map above.
Important Dates & Information
- The last day to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 General Election is October 21, 2024.
- All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
- Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots by October 7, 2024.
- Ballot drop-off locations open on October 8, 2024.
- Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned either by mail, at a drop-off location, or your county elections office.
- Vote centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning on October 26, 2024.
- Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2024.
Redistricting
The city of Palm Desert has adopted a map (Map 109) that will split the city into five districts. That means this November 5th residents in Districts 1, 2 and 3 will have the historic opportunity to elect someone to the City Council from their own neighborhood.
